'Silver Birches’ is a one of a kind framed mini tapestry artwork for sale.  I wanted to create a 3D tapestry piece showing beautiful tonal silver birch trees with their autumn leaves. The piece was completely intuitive in design, making it up in my head as I went along. 
 
It was designed and woven on my Saffron Mirrix loom using pure wool.  I’ve used a mixture of 4 fine yarns. 
 
Size : The textile image is 5.5 x 6". The wall mounted white frame is 11” w x 11.5” h x 1.25” depth (or 28 cm x 30cm x 3 cm)
 
The tapestry has been carefully hand sewn and mounted onto cotton board.  It is purposefully left without any glass over it.  
 
Care - a gentle dust of the frame occasionally.  Note:  do not place tapestries in a kitchen or bathroom.
