'Idyllic Shores’ is another calming piece of art - for those who love to be near the water, like me.  
 
I wanted to make a really peaceful image bringing lots of colours into the water.  The boat is just sitting by the shoreline waiting to take you on your journey.
 
It was designed and woven on my 8" Mirrix Chloe Loom using pure wool. I used 4 fine threads of wool on this piece. 
 
Colours - soft blues/aquas, greens, brown, yellow/orange and white
 
Size : The textile image is 5.75 x 5". The wall mounted white frame is 11” h x 11.5” w x 1.25” depth (or 28 cm x 30cm x 3 cm)
 
The tapestry has been carefully hand sewn and mounted onto cotton board. It is purposefully left without any glass over it.
 
Care - a gentle dust of the frame occasionally. Note: do not place tapestries in a kitchen or bathroom.
